The Best Way to

Sell Your Comics

and Get the Most for Them

I buy comic book collections with honesty, transparency, and consistently better offers than most shops in Madison, WI.

Hey I’m Chris!

Person sitting on floor surrounded by arranged X-Men comic books, wearing an X-Men T-shirt, holding several issues.

I’ve been collecting comic books for most of my life, and what started as a hobby has grown into a full-time business.

I buy and resell comic collections of all sizes — from just a few issues to entire long boxes. My goal is to make the process easier for you than going through local shops, auctions, or the hassle of selling online.

I’ve spent years collecting, studying, and valuing comics, and I bring that knowledge to every collection I see. I’ll give you a fair, no-pressure offer — and in most cases, I’ll pay more than the local shops (Half Priced Books, Comic Book Stores).

How It Works

  • Man in classic superhero costume holding a red phone, wearing a blue mask and cape with a yellow bat symbol on his chest.

    REACH OUT

Send me a message using the contact form below. You can include photos, a rough list, or just a quick note about what you have — even if you’re not sure. I’ll get back to you quickly.

  • Collection of comic books in cardboard storage boxes and several on the floor, including titles like The Real Ghostbusters, Terminator, and Thor.

SET UP A TIME TO MEET LOCALLY

If you're nearby, we can schedule a time to meet in person so I can take a closer look at your comics - either at your home or a public spot. Condition plays a big role in value, so seeing the books in hand helps me give you the most accurate and fair offer possible.

  • GET PAID

Once we agree on a price, you’ll get paid on the spot! I pay in cash (or Venmo, Paypal), and you walk away with money in your pocket and space cleared up at home. Whether you’re selling a few books or an entire collection, I make sure the process is smooth, respectful, and worth your time.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of comic books do you buy?

I buy comics from all eras — Golden Age, Silver Age, Bronze, and Modern (so 1940’s to now). I'm especially interested in superhero titles (like Marvel and DC), key issues, full collections, CGC/CBCS slabbed comics, but I’m happy to look at just about anything.

Do you have a store?

I don’t have a physical storefront. I sell comics online and work from home, which allows me to keep things simple and flexible. When buying collections, I typically meet people at a public location or at their home — whichever is more comfortable for you.

How far do you travel to look at collections?

It depends on the size and type of collection. I’m willing to travel a few hours for the right books, but I do ask to see photos or a video walkthrough first. That helps me understand what you have and ensures it’s worth the trip for both of us. I want to value your time — and mine — while making the process as smooth as possible.

Do I need to know what my comics are worth?

Not at all, I’ll help evaluate their condition and value when we connect, and I’ll walk you through the offer.

How do you determine the value?

Comic collection value depends on several key factors — including the number of books, specific titles and issue numbers, condition, and current market demand. I look at all of those things when reviewing a collection. I’ll always explain how I arrive at my offer, and I do my best to be transparent and fair throughout the process.

What do you do with the comics you are unable to sell?

Most collections include some comics that aren’t in demand or are harder to resell — and that’s okay. I donate many of those to local organizations like the Madison Reading Project, which gives books and comics to kids and promotes children’s literacy. I also drop comics off at Little Free Libraries around the area. So even if a book isn’t valuable, it still finds a good home and brings joy to someone else.
